TNA Wrestling – Part 2

A new type of match has also been introduced for the X Division championship – The Ultimate X match; it’s a high flying and high risk version of something much like a Ladder match. The difference is the X Division championship is suspended above the ring on two intersecting wires, thus forming an “X”.

By catering to a more complex and niche audience, TNA has blurred the line between the sports entertainment world and a scripted formulaic world. “Shoot” angles are use actual Wrestling and/or Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) thus producing usually unscripted results. This is another aspect of TNA which sets it apart from the WWE.
