Aikido focuses on the distance, motion, speed, and projection of an attacker, but in the street an attacker is in your face and you have no space and he/she has no rules. That’s when the best advantage is to all over them like a rash until they are on the floor and your bouncing their head off the concrete with edge of hand blows…

      In fighting rules are for breaking or you get broken!
