Let’s move bodies and get slim!
Apart from walking, there are many other forms of exercises. Some of the more common forms of activities include dancing, body building training and a visit to the gym.
Aerobics -This method of exercise was devised in 1977 by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper of the United States. Aerobics refers to a variety of activities like walking, jogging and running. The idea is to increase the maximum amount of oxygen that the body can process in given time. Aerobics builds basic fitness and endurance. It builds agility, co-ordination and muscular strength, particularly in the arms and upper torso.
One exercise that can help you find all about your body is jogging. Actions must be taken to find out how your body reacts to the various mental, physiological environments. It is always good to know your pulse.
Yoga originated in India within the Hindu culture. Though all the details of the ancient civilization of India linking to yoga are not available, still it is deemed as like a sacred way to live a healthy life. It connects body, mind and soul an keeps them in harmony. This connection is emphasized in the word ‘yoga’ that means to link or connect. The physical postures are a great way to start off.
Tai Chi chuan is designed to provide relaxation in the process of body-conditioning exercise. Tai Chi Chuan, Karate and Judo have their origins in Japan and are still used for mind and body. Fitness experts deem them to be great to the overall health of the body. They require control of the whole body and demand concentration.
It’s no coincidence that gyms, personal trainers and producers of exercise videos and DVD’s are now heavily incorporating training techniques but martial arts like Karate and Jude hold a place of their own when it comes to body movements. One of the most obvious benefits of doing Karate and Judo is that it provides us with the fitness, strength, skill and techniques necessary to protect ourselves from being attacked by others. At the same time they help a lot in maintaining a good shape.
