Martial Art Shirts

Some Shirts On Martial ArtsWhy Would Anyone Buy Martial Art Shirts?

Well, when you think about it, there are many reasons why people might buy martial art shirts. Just like baseball fans will buy baseball caps to show support for their home team or the team that they pull for, fans of the martial arts might buy martial art shirts to show support for their favorite competitor, or their favorite style of martial art.

You can find martial art shirts in all styles, all colors, all sizes, and that made for boys, girls, men and women. In fact, when doing research for this article I found shirts designed for a three year old.

You also will find shirts designed for particular artists, for different styles of martial arts, and far some mythical characters. One interesting shirt that I came across was the “Emotions of Chuck Norris”. This special shirt showed nine face shots of Chuck Norris with different emotions. The emotions included Joy, Sorrow, Excitement, Frustration, Boredom, Anger, Impatience, Sleepiness, and Flirtatious. The funny part about this, and I’m sure fans of Chuck Norris will agree all of the pictures were the same, no change of expression and that sounds like Chuck Norris.

Another Chuck Norris tee shirt I saw had this on it…

”Things You Need to Know About Chuck Norris”

  1. Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door
  2. Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice
  3. Chuck Norris refers to himself in fourth person
  4. Chuck Norris doesn’t leave messages, he leaves warnings
  5. When the boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris
  6. The chief export of Chuck Norris is pain
  7. Chuck Norris can split the atom with his bare hands
  8. Chuck Norris doesn’t use scuba diving equipment, he just holds his breath

Some other interesting shirts were “Chuck Norris Tiger Blood” and a couple I like “Italian Stallion” and “Rocky” T-shirts. That, of course, are just some of the people that I am familiar with from TV. But people that are dyed in the wool martial arts fans will be familiar with many of the martial art champions and I’m sure that all the champions have T-shirts available with their logos, accomplishments, Titles, philosophies, and different ideas on their available shirts.

Martial Art Shirts For Different Martial Art Styles

While martial art shirts designed to show support for individual artists are very popular and sell well, you also will find shirts designed to promote the different styles of martial arts. A few that I ran across was Shotokan, Yin Yang, Isshinryu, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Karate, Aikido, Judo, Jui-Jitsu, Kendo, Muay Thai, Russian Sambo, Savate, Tai chi, Capoeira, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kick Boxing, Wing Chun, and Miyagi Do Karate. I am sure that I missed a bunch.

Some of the of the brands of shirts you will find are Bad Boy, Destruction Kings, Hitman, KD Elite, Revgear, Century Martial Arts, Macho Martial Arts, Proforce Martial Arts, Proforce Martial Arts, Kwon Martial Arts / Danro, Adidas Martial Arts, UFC Gear and Apparel, and XMA.

Still more brands are Sanbon Pro Apparel, Tapout Training Gear and Apparel, JACO, Otomix Clothing and Shoes, Sprawl MMA, Tiger Claw, Reevo MMA and Boxing, and Shock Doctor Protective Gear,

These T-shirts are often called “walk out tees” because while a lot of martial artists will wear T-shirts to the ring, They usually do not wear their T-shirts while competing in the ring. However, quite often while training in the gym, they will wear their T-shirts. Fans of course will wear their T-shirts to all the events that they attend and might just wear them anytime they feel like it to show support for their favorite artist or style of martial art.

Okay, we have talked quite a bit about martial art shirts, but there are all kinds of martial arts apparel, equipment, and everything else associated with martial arts that you can think of or might be interested in. Just visit a local martial art store or check online and you will find grappling shorts, headgear knee, arm, elbow and Shin guards, patches and uniforms for all styles of martial arts.

If you are into boxing or kickboxing, you will need a bag and you will find all kind of bags and stands to hold the bags. There are heavy bags, standing bags, speed bags and striking bags.

Just to give you a rough idea of all the things you might encounter when checking into martial arts. I’ve inserted the table below that list all of the categories that I found on just one online martial arts site.

As you can see, there are quite a lot of different categories involved and remember this is just from one site. While I am sure that other sites will have most of these same categories, they might have others as well.
