Bil jee is the culmination of everything taught in the wing Chun training system. It teaches and builds on the foundation of wing Chun and adds a more deadly and explosive element. The key to bill jee are finger strikes. This allows for extra inches in reach. Also this requires greater precision. Because of this you need to be amore accurate with your striking. As finger strikes do not have the same strength as punches and can cause greater harm to your hands if not executed correctly. That is why accuracy and speed are a must.Target the correct area of your opponent.

The most effective kung fu training techniques are usually the most basic. For many centuries at h Shaolin monastery kung fu was taught in the same way to its many students. The basics have remained focus on Flexibility, stamina , strength and endurance.
This involved many exercises that focused on conditioning your body during many grueling drills.
I remember when I first started out as a green martial artist I was paired with a partner who was much more advanced. The first drill was to block against a round punch they would block and then follow up. At the time my weak puny arms would deliver the punch , only to have my partners strong conditioned arms block and follow up.

When beginning any style of kung fu training you learn a lot of fixed sets of moves that are essentially rope learned. Your opponent strikes you respond, they do the next move you respond etc. However at the risk of sounding obvious all your kung fu training should start at the basic foundations of fitness.Drills that help your footwork and handwork are fantastic building blocks for the fighter. Many fighters fail to appreciate how much true speed depends on economy of motion (e.g good form and co- ordination.Hence ongoing drilling and practise of the most basic moves is essential.

With the increasing public attention towards the Ultimate Fighting Championship Series, WEC, along with Elite XC, the sport of mixed martial arts is growing rapidly. If you are getting trained in an type of martial art, it still might not exactly give you a leg up based on the schooling or the track record the opponent has. As for scenarios within a street bout, you don’t watch footage of your competitor and study in planning with regard to a match up. Virtually all street combats may not be organized a few months beforehand, rather they are instead fought sporadically. It is best to get well versed in many forms and varieties that allows you to be a mixed martial artist.
